Student account security is vital to protect student data privacy and avoid cybersecurity events. Strong passwords are essential to keeping student accounts protected.
There may be times when students require a password reset due to forgetting a password, or other circumstances. Other circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
- Forgetting to log out of a shared device and the potential for another student to have accessed their account.
- Accidentally sharing a password or using a common password that has been breached while using another digital service.
- Having a password that has a known or predictable pattern.
The information below supports the ability for students to reset their password with and without the assistance of a school staff member.
